Our Summer Member Drive has ended and we wanted to say thank you to all of our wonderful readers who supported MinnPost!
We set out on this drive with an ambitious goal: 100 new or upgraded sustaining donations. With 81 people stepping up, we didn’t quite reach the goal, but we are still thrilled for the support of our in-depth journalism! Thank you!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sustaining donations are crucial to our nonprofit newsroom. This is why we focus so much of our fundraising efforts on them. It helps us budget and plan for whatever comes our way.
As we look ahead to the rest of 2024, I’m optimistic thanks to the support of members who read and support our journalism.
As always, I want to highlight some of the very nice things folks had to say about MinnPost:
“Excellent local news coverage is vital to a thriving community.”
– Leah, Saint Paul
“I appreciate the honest, trustworthy reporting of news important to our community.”
– JoAnn, Lake Elmo
“Important role as a free digital newspaper.”
– Seymour, Minneapolis
“I want news from around Minnesota.. and I support independent fact based journalism.”
– Carla, Maple Plain
“We need truth telling in these times. You work hard and I appreciate your publication.”
– Jan, Minneapolis
Thank you all for your support — we couldn’t do it without you!
P.S. If you meant to make a gift but didn’t have a chance, it’s not too late! Your support is important year-round, so donate now!
